Terms of Service
1. What Sparkbright is
Sparkbright is a web app that builds short learning courses — a lesson, practice questions and a game — across six subjects for ages 7 to 70. Some courses are assembled from open question banks; others are generated on demand by AI.
2. Your account
You create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account. If a child uses Sparkbright, a parent or guardian is responsible for their account and agrees to these terms on their behalf.
3. Plans, quotas and billing
The Free plan builds one course a week. Paid plans (Plus, Max, Family, Family Max) raise or remove that weekly allowance, as shown on the pricing page. Allowances count per week. Replaying a course you already built is always free. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe; you can cancel at any time and keep using the Free plan.
4. Acceptable use
Use Sparkbright for learning. Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, submit topics designed to produce harmful content, or use it to harass others. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
5. AI-generated content
Courses generated by AI can occasionally contain mistakes. We validate generated questions before showing them and fall back to curated questions when validation fails, but we can't guarantee every answer is perfect. If you spot an error, please tell us at [email protected]. Treat Sparkbright as a learning aid, not an authoritative reference.
6. Content and attribution
Some questions come from open datasets under their own licences. See our content sources for the full list and attribution.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may close accounts that break these terms. On closure, your learning data is deleted.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be signalled in the app. Continuing to use Sparkbright after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Contact and governing law
Questions? [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
